We are extremely honored to be the first Catholic school in Delaware to dedicate a POW/MIA Chair of Honor on our campus.
On Thursday, November 11, 2021 St. Elizabeth hosted a truly beautiful Veterans Day Celebration and Dedication Ceremony for The Chair of Honor.
About the POW MIA Chair of Honor:
Since WWII, 81,000 American men and women remain "still missing" and unaccounted for. Outside of their immediate family and close friends, they have nearly been forgotten. This Chair will serve as a tribute to all (POW) Prisoners of War and (MIA) Missing in Action and their families for their service and sacrifice.
St. Elizabeth School is the first Catholic school to dedicate a POW/MIA chair in Delaware. We hope to continue to educate our students about the importance and meaning of POW/MIA.
