Cyber Champions

Six high schools students were the running for the National Cyber Scholarship, an achievement based on their hard work in class and at home learning CyberSecurity. We are thrilled to announce that two of our students have earned awards!
Recent graduates, Ariane Elyse Simbulan '22 has been ranked as a Finalist and Kaycee-Marie Rigor '22 has been ranked as a Scholar by the National Cyber Scholarship Foundation (NCSF) for their performance in a challenging online cybersecurity training program.
In recognition of her achievement, Kaycee earned an invitation to participate in the Cyber Foundations Academy –a multi-week online program based on the nationally-recognized SANS Foundations training course and certification –valued at more than $3,000. Over 45,000 students nationwide sought to qualify for a National Cyber Scholarship, and Kaycee is one of the top 1152 in the nation!
Way to go, Vikings! And many thanks to Mrs. Cierniak for helping our students explore and pursue interests in Cyber security and Coding!
