Celebrating Black History Month
As part of our High School Black History Month celebration, we have invited a guest in to moderate our Monday Morning Assemblies in February and then to speak on what Black History Month means to them.
On Monday, February 13, 2023, we welcomed our second moderator this month, Mrs. Karen Dorsey Knight ‘97. Mrs. Knight is a Guidance Counselor at the Bayard School and very involved in her college sorority and community service. Her two sons, Horace and Knox, are students in our elementary school, continuing her family's legacy at St. E. Seniors Aryiana Williams and Imonee Dacres also spoke about what Black History Month means to them during the assembly.
