High School Placement Test Prep Course

St. Elizabeth offers a course to help prepare eighth grade students for the High School Placement Test (HSPT) by learning test-taking skills and strategies. 
The HSPT Prep Course is designed to prepare students for the Diocesan High School Placement Test that St. Elizabeth High School uses for admission and scholarship consideration. The course will focus on helping students acquire greater expertise in reading, verbal, math, and test taking skills. The subjects covered will include:
  • Reading comprehension and vocabulary
  • Grammar, usage, and writing skills
  • Algebraic operations
  • Problem solving techniques
  • Time management
  • Test taking skills
Location: St. Elizabeth High School
Dates and Time: Monday, October 29, 2018 through Thursday, November 1, 2018; 3:30 pm till 5:40 pm.
Cost: $125.00 (includes textbook, tablet, pencils, and snacks)
Enrollment: Enrollment is limited to 30 students a session. 
Deadline for Enrollment: Sunday, October 28, 2018
Cancellation Policy: Fees are refundable (minus cost of the textbook) if you cancel at least two weeks prior to the prep course. No refunds will be made after that time.

PLEASE BE ADVISED: Enrollment in the High School Placement Prep Course does not automatically register a student to take the High School Placement Test (HSPT).  Contact the St. Elizabeth High School Admissions Office to inquire about the process for registering for the HSPT.
