Alex Thomas '15 scores 1,000 career point

On Saturday, December 30th Alex Thomas ’15, scored her 1,000th career point as the University of the Sciences women's basketball broke the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) record with 17 3-pointers in a 76-50 victory at Wilmington University.
 
Entering the contest 11 points shy of the milestone, Alex scored 12 of her game-high 19 points in the first half. The total was one point shy of her season-best, and she also finished one assist shy of her career-high with five. Alex also made school history as she and fellow teammate Colleen Walsh are now tied for sixth in program history with 126 career 3-pointers.

Alex chose the University of Sciences because of its excellent reputation for athletics, as well as academics in the classroom. Alex is a junior and studying Occupational Therapy.
