On Wednesday, December 7th, our students celebrated National Computer Science week with our very own Hour of Code educational program!
What is "Hour of Code"?
Hour of Code is a worldwide effort to celebrate computer science. The Hour of Code takes place each year during Computer Science Education Week (Dec. 3-9). At St. Elizabeth School, we believe every student should have the opportunity to learn more about computer science. It promotes problem-solving skills, logic and creativity. Exposing students to computer science at an early stage can help develop career paths for those interested by the time they start planning their college search.
Students in grades Pre-K3 - 12th participated in a wide variety of age appropriate activities, led by our AP Computer Science students!
