St. Elizabeth High School students partnered with the Blood Bank to host our annual blood drive on Thursday, March 7th, 2019.
The blood drive is a student-driven event that our high school blood drive members organize each year. For most juniors and seniors, this is the first time donating blood, an impactful experience that prepares them for donating in the future. In addition to our upper classmen, many faculty and staff members were in attendance to support our students and donate themselves! A total of 43 Vikings were able to donate!
Each pint of blood collected can help save up to three lives and will touch the lives of so many more. The Annual Blood Drive is a great opportunity for our students to pay it forward and make an impact on people in our community and across the country. Many thanks to our student blood drive committee members and faculty coordinator, Mr. Frank Bellomo for facilitating another successful blood drive!
