An Apple Distinguished School

St. Elizabeth High School is pleased to announce that it has been recognized as an Apple Distinguished School for 2017–2019 for its implementation of the 1:1 iPad Program. Our program fosters a learning environment that is student-centered, technology infused, and curriculum focused.

Apple Distinguished Schools are centers of innovation, leadership, and educational excellence that use Apple products to inspire creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking. They showcase innovative uses of technology in learning, teaching, and the school environment and have documented results of academic accomplishment.

The selection of St. Elizabeth High School as an Apple Distinguished School highlights our success as an innovative and compelling learning environment that engages students and provides tangible evidence of academic accomplishment.

On a daily basis, iPads bring liveliness to the classrooms, inspiration to the faculty, and creativity to our students. We are able to deepen the learning experiences for all our students and to provide new learning opportunities. The greatest accomplishment to come from this endeavor has been the increased student engagement as demonstrated by student achievement in academics, collaboration, and leadership.

“This recognition affirms the goals that we set out to achieve when we started this journey in 2011 to utilize technology to enhance St. Elizabeth’s already proud academic tradition. Each of our students in their own uniqueness has found a way to optimize how we as a school have redefined daily practices”
