St. Elizabeth School, in conjunction with Northeastern Music Company, offers band lessons to students in grades 4-8. Band is available to students of all ability levels. An instructor from Northeastern provides a 45-minute lessons once a week, as well as a full band rehearsal each week. The St. Elizabeth Band performs two concerts each year, one in the winter and one in the spring, and also performs in Church before the Christmas Pageant. Band is not included in tutition fees.
Junior Youth Group
Junior Youth Group is offered for students who are members of St. Elizabeth Parish and in grades 7 or 8. Junior Youth Group fosters opportunities for the youth of our parish to build relationships, attend social events together, foster growth as young adults, and serve the community. The group meets one Sunday evening a month.
Choir is offered to students in grades 3-8. Students are under the direction of Mr. Jeff Dietzler, our drama and musical director. Choir performs at various school, parish, and Diocesan functions throughout the school year.
Students in grades 7-8 may be nominated to be part of St. Elizabeth Math League. Students compete against other Diocesan schools in competitions that take place after school hours.
St. Elizabeth students in grades 5-7 may compete yearly in the Diocesan Science Olympiad. Students express interest and then are selected by staff and administrators. Students are expected to attend practices with their science teachers and also prepare at home. The competition typically takes place in March.
Student Leadership Group
Student Leadership Group is offered to students in grades 5-8. Interested students nominate themselves and must be approved by their teacher and the principal. Students are then voted on by their peers. Student Leaders serves as representatives of St. Elizabeth School and help faculty and staff by performing service projects, hospitality or other works of mercy as needed.
