Fostering Students Spiritual Development
Beyond the Classroom
Extracurricular activities are essential to a well-rounded educational experience.
We offer a broad range of activities for various grade levels that contribute to the overall leadership, service, and spiritual growth of our students.
Beyond academics, a wealth of vibrant extracurricular activities awaits, inviting students to explore their interests and talents while crafting their unique narratives at St. E. Vikings have the opportunity to engage in athletics, the arts, diverse clubs/AFPs, and community service initiatives, enabling them to pursue their passions, hone leadership skills, form enduring friendships, and create unforgettable memories. We strongly encourage our students to immerse themselves in these experiences, as they cultivate well-rounded individuals dedicated to making a positive impact in the world beyond the halls of St. E.

Exploring their Interests and Passions, Crafting their Story
Stacey Reyburn
Elementary school students can join various teacher-led clubs and enrichment activities, though some are age-specific.
In high school, students can pursue programs aligned with their interests and are encouraged to explore new pathways. Each marking period, they select three Activity Flex Periods per week. While traditional clubs like student government and community service remain popular at St. E, there is a wide range of additional offerings reflecting the interests of the VKNation.
St. Elizabeth promotes student voice and choice, allowing the creation of new clubs throughout the year. This not only boosts engagement but also enhances students' leadership skills. We want our Vikings to Craft Their Story at St. E!

Faith & Service
Help us to see and serve You in our neighbor and to miss no opportunity of doing good in Your name.
St. Elizabeth is a close-knit Catholic school rooted in the Benedictine tradition, emphasizing the personal and spiritual growth of students and the school community. Faculty and staff embody St. Benedict's values of hospitality, peace, prayer, compassion, and the dignity of work.
To enhance our relationship with God, we celebrate monthly Mass and offer students the Sacrament of Reconciliation during Advent and Lent. Each day begins and ends with prayer, fostering spiritual development. Elementary students complete a Sacramental Program, receiving First Reconciliation, Holy Communion, and Confirmation, with many becoming altar servers.
St. Elizabeth Parish grew from humble beginnings into a vibrant community through inspired leadership and sacrifice. Bishop John J. Monaghan sought a space for a church serving all nationalities, naming it in honor of St. Elizabeth, cousin of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Fr. William Temple was appointed Pastor and immediately planned for a parochial school. With the help of the Benedictine Sisters of Ridgley, Maryland,
Faculty and staff embody St. Benedict's values of hospitality, peace, prayer, compassion, and the dignity of work.
