Journeys Reading Program
90 minute block to integrate all areas of Language Arts (reading, writing, spelling, vocabulary and grammar)
Focus on vocabulary, genres, comprehension, parts of speech, expository writing and spelling
Math:
McGraw-Hill, My Math Program
Focus on concepts at the concrete level and then moves to the abstract level, problem solving skills, division, multiplication, computation and ratios
Additional math period each week
Social Studies:
Savvas, myWorld Interactive Program
Focus on Western Civilization and U.S. History from Age of Explorers to Colonial Times
Science:
Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Science Fusion Program
Focus on engineering and technology, classifying organisms, ecosystems, weather, earth, matter and energy
Hands-on science lab and exploration each week
Religion:
Benzinger Program
Focus on sacraments, the Bible, Jesus as Messiah, the Paschal Mystery and the Liturgy
