Open House

Visit us for an Open House to tour our campus, meet our faculty, staff, and students, and learn all there is to know about the St. Elizabeth Community. We will be holding Open Houses on the following dates during the 2019-2020 school year:

High School Open House (Grades 9-12)
Lower School and Junior High Open House (Grades PK-8)
  • Sunday, January 26, 2020 from 1:00pm - 3:00pm
  • Monday, January 27, 2020 from 5:30pm - 7:30pm
  • Wednesday, January 29, 2020 from 8:00am - 10:00am

Viking for a Day Program

The perfect opportunity to see if St. Elizabeth School is a good fit for you is to visit for a day. Viking for a Day visits are available for prospective students enter grades 3-12. Visitors spend the entire day with us – going to classes, eating lunch, touring the campus, and participating in the day’s events. We strive to make every visitor immediately feel welcome and as a member of our Viking community. We encourage visitors to participate as much as possible during the day in order to fully experience what it means to be a Viking! We look forward to welcoming your student to our campus soon!

Availability for Viking for a Day visits during the 2019-2020 school year for prospective 9th grade students will begin on Tuesday, October 1st, 2019. Viking for a Day availability for prospective students grades 3-12 will begin in January 2020.

To be a Viking for a Day, complete our inquiry form online. After your inquiry is processed, you will be provided with a St. Elizabeth onCampus account, where you will be able to schedule a visit through your online portal. Personal Family Tours

Prospective families interested in grades PreK-3 through 12 are encouraged to schedule a personal family tour with our admissions office. A St. Elizabeth staff member will provide you with a 1-on-1 family tour, giving you the opportunity to explore our campus, ask questions, and learn all there is to know about being a member of our Viking Community. To schedule a personal family tour, complete our inquiry form and schedule a tour directly through your new online portal, or contact the Admissions Office, 302-656-3369 ext. 3039. Tours are available year round. 

Walk In Wednesdays

St. Elizabeth School gives prospective families the opportunity to visit our campus without an appointment every Wednesday! Prospective families are encouraged to drop in any time between 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. on Wednesdays throughout the year to tour our campus and learn more about the St. Elizabeth School community. All prospective families (grades PreK-3 through 12th) are welcome.

  • Q: What day can I come to St. Elizabeth?

    9th Grade Visitors:
    Prospective 9th grade students can schedule a visit beginning on October 1, 2019. The program continues through the spring of the academic year. We may restrict students from coming on days when we have special schedules or no academic classes.

    Lower and Upper School Transfer Visitors:
    Prospective Lower and Upper School transfer students can schedule a visit beginning on January 7, 2020. The program continues through the spring of the academic year. We may restrict students from coming on days when we have special schedules or no academic classes.
  • Q: Where do I go on my scheduled visit day?

    Junior High & High School Visitors:
    The school day is from 7:45am until 2:29pm. You should arrive at the school’s main entrance at 7:30am. Upon arrival, you will directed to the admissions office in our main hallway. Your day will end around 2:35pm. Once classes end at 2:29pm, you will return to the admissions office to debrief and ask any final questions you might have about St. Elizabeth School.

    Lower School Visitors:
    The St. Elizabeth Lower School day is from 7:55am until 2:45pm.
    Parents and students should arrive at the school's main entrance at 7:45am. Upon arrival, a St. Elizabeth faculty representative will meet all visitors in front of the school auditorium. Parents should return just before 2:45pm and check in with the main office. Students will return to the main office at the conclusion of the visit.
  • Q: What should I wear?

    High School Visitors:
    If you currently attend a school that requires a uniform, you may wear your school uniform. However, boys and girls can also follow the St. Elizabeth fall/spring dress code:
    • Khaki or dress pants
    • Collared or polo shirt (girls and boys) or button up shirt and tie (boys)
    • Dress shoes
    Lower School & Junior High Visitors:
    Students that currently attend a school that requires a uniform may wear their school uniform. However, boys and girls can also follow the St. Elizabeth dress code:
    • Khaki or dress pants
    • Collared or polo shirt
    • Shoes with laces
  • Q: Should I bring anything with me?

    Junior High & High School Visitors:
    Lunch will be provided for you. You may choose to bring a notebook and pen if you wish to jot down notes while you are on campus. However, an iPad will be provided for you for the day so you can experience our 1:1 learning environment. The only thing you really need is your enthusiasm for the day! Please let us know if your student has any food allergies.

    Lower School Visitors:
    Students may choose to bring a notebook, a pen, a snack for the morning, and enthusiasm for the day. Lunch will be provided for visitors in our school cafeteria. Please let us know if your student has any food allergies.
  • Q: Can I choose my guide?

    Lower and Upper School Visitors:
    Yes, you may request a guide. In addition, there are a number of students in our building who serve as Viking Ambassadors for visits. If there is a particular interest that you have (e.g. student government, math league, volleyball), we can match you with a Viking student who participates in that activity or sport.
