For thirty-one years, the First State Force Band has performed the last Friday of every month in schools across Delaware.
On Friday, February 23rd, the seven-member band performed for our lower school students in The Box. The band played popular songs that had both students and staff on their feet dancing around the gym and singing along. There were also clear messages reminding students to respect yourself and others, to stand up against bullying and violence, to make safe choices, say no to drugs and stay in school. The peppy one-hour concert performed by law enforcement professionals from agencies across the state afforded students the opportunity to sing along and show off their many dance moves and talents.
