Dress Code

Each student must maintain a neat, clean appearance appropriate for school attendance and extracurricular activities. Students are representatives of St. Elizabeth at all times; their appearance should reflect Christian values of modesty and dignity.

  • High School Dress Code: Grade 9-12

    Fall/Spring Dress Code - BOYS Grades 9-12
    • Khaki trousers are the uniform khakis available through Lands’ End. The trousers must be worn at the waist with a traditionally styled belt.
    • White or maroon St. E emblem golf-style shirt available through Lands’ End. These shirts must also be completely tucked inside trousers at the waist.
    • Black Plainview Eastland shoes, Tan Eastland Bucks or Sahara Sperry shoes (Can be purchased from Amazon, Kohl's etc.) The approved footwear must be worn at all times except during physical education class.
    • White or black socks must be worn at all times.
    • Shirts must be tucked in and a belt must be worn at all times.
    Winter Dress Code - BOYS Grades 9-12
    • Khaki trousers are the uniform khakis available through Lands’ End. The trousers must be worn at the waist with a traditionally styled belt.
    • Business style (collared) long or short sleeved, light colored dress shirt with an accompanying necktie that must be neat, appropriate, and traditionally styled. Both shirt and tie must be visible. Shirts must be completely tucked inside trousers at the waist.
    • Boys could also opt to wear the St. E emblem golf-style shirt available through Lands’ End.  These shirts must also be completely tucked inside trousers at the waist.
    • In addition to either the dress shirt/tie or the St. E polo shirt, males will wear the approved quarter-zip style jacket or school fleece. As an option, traditionally styled suit coats or sports jackets may be worn. 

    Fall/Spring Dress Code - GIRLS Grades 9-12
    • Lands End khaki pants or plaid skort
    • White or maroon polo shirt
    • Black Plainview Eastland shoes, Tan Eastland Bucks or Sahara Sperry shoes (Can be purchased from Amazon, Kohl's etc.) 
    • Socks must be worn at all times. 
    • Polos must be tucked in and a belt must be worn.
    • If wearing the skort, maroon tights or knee high socks must be worn at all times. 
    Winter Dress Code - GIRLS Grades 9-12
    • Lands End khaki pants or plaid skort
    • White or maroon polo shirt

    • One of the following must be worn:
    • Option 1: Maroon quarter zip jacket
    • Option 2: Maroon Full Zip Fleece
    • Socks and a belt must be worn at all times
    • If wearing the skort, maroon tights or knee high socks must be worn at all times. 
  • Elementary School Dress Code: Grade 1-6

    Girls’ Uniforms: 
    1st through 8th Grade


    Girls’ Fall Uniform: August through October 31st
    • official Lands End maroon shirt with the embroidered St. E logo
      • short or long sleeve
      • must be tucked and worn with a belt
    • khaki shorts, Lands End khaki pants or khaki skort 
      • If wearing skort, maroon knee socks or maroon tights must be worn
    • solid black, white, maroon or tan socks
    • black or brown school shoes
    Girls’ Winter Uniform: November 1st through April 30th
    • official Lands End maroon shirt with the embroidered St. E logo
      • short or long sleeve
      • must be tucked and worn with a belt
    • khaki shorts, Lands End khaki pants or khaki skort
      • If wearing skort, maroon knee socks or maroon tights must be worn
    • solid black, white, maroon or tan socks
    • black or brown school shoes 
    • The official uniform full-zip fleece and quarter zip jackets are the only approved outerwear for in-school wear.  Sweatshirts are not permitted with the standard uniform.
    Girls’ Spring Uniform: May 1st through June
    (see “Fall Uniform”, outlined above)

    Jewelry and Accessories
    The only jewelry permitted to be worn to school is one ring, a medal, a thin chain and a watch. Small post or hoop earrings (no larger than the diameter of a quarter) may be worn.

    Girls’ Hair Policy
    Hair should be well-groomed and away from the eyes. Hair must be its natural color and hair accessories should be a solid color and minimum in size (ex. no cat ear headbands, pom-pom headbands, etc.). Extreme hairstyles, as defined by the principal, are prohibited. 

    Makeup
    Makeup of any kind is prohibited at all times including tag days. No makeup should be brought to school.

    Boys may wear a medal or cross on a thin chain and a watch. No earrings are permitted.

    Boys’ Hair Policy
    Hair is to be neat and well-groomed. All styles must be cut above the collar and above the eyebrows. Hair must be its natural color.  Extreme haircuts (ex: mohawks, shaved designs, etc.), as defined by the principal, are prohibited.


    Official PE Uniforms - Boys and Girls
    Gym uniforms can be purchased from Lands End. All uniforms must be size appropriate. Students may wear their gym uniforms to school on PE Day with sneakers. Sneakers may not light up.

    Winter Gym Uniform: November 1st through April 30th 
    • full-length sweatpants and sweatshirt in maroon or gray only 
    • NOTE: Team attire is non-compliant with the official gym uniform and should not be worn on PE Day (i.e., team shirts, team sweatshirts, tournament shirts).

    Maroon Fleece Jacket & Quarter Zip Pull-over
    • All students may wear the uniform approved fleece jacket or quarter zip pull-over embroidered with the St. E logo any month of the year with any uniform.
  • Dress Code: Pre-K 3 - Kindergarten

    The uniform for all Pre-K 3, Pre-K 4, and Kindergarten students is the school gym uniform. The uniform is the same for boys and girls.
    Students will wear the St. Elizabeth School Gym uniform. Gym uniform items may be purchased from Lands End.

    Fall & Spring (August through October 31st & May 1st through June):
    • maroon gym uniform shorts with the St. Elizabeth logo
    • official gray gym shirt with the St. Elizabeth logo
    • sneakers (without lights)

    Winter (November 1st through April 30th):
    • official maroon or gray sweatpants and sweatshirt
    • sneakers (without lights)
